Roulette is a banking game; all bets are placed
against the house. Players bet on the wheel (consisting of 38 red and black sections which
are numbered from 1 to 36 plus a green section marked 0 and 00) for a number, group of
numbers, or color which they expect to win.
The banker spins the wheel in one direction and
tosses the ball in the opposite direction. The ball will come to rest in one of the
numbered sections, indicating the winning number.
